Terms of Service

Last updated: 31 October 2026

These Terms of Service govern your use of AstroProcessor’s products and services, including astroprocessor.app (and any mobile or desktop apps we may offer). Please read them carefully before using the Service. For how we collect, use, and share your personal data, see our Privacy Policy.

1. Who we are

AstroProcessor (“AstroProcessor”, “we”, “us”) operates the astrology workspace at astroprocessor.app (the “Service”). The Service is provided by Alisa Vasilenko, operating as autónomo (sole trader), trading as AstroProcessor, with Spanish tax number (NIF) Y9774585J and intra-community VAT number (NIF-IVA) ESY9774585J, with registered address at Calle del Concilio de Trento 78, 08018 Barcelona, Spain. You can reach us at [email protected] and we aim to respond within two business days. Our full legal notice is in our Legal Notice (Aviso Legal).

2. Acceptance of these terms

By creating an account, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you confirm you are authorized to bind that organization to these terms.

3. Eligibility and accounts

  • You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to create an account.
  • You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your account credentials secure. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account.
  • Notify us promptly at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

4. The Service and AI-assisted interpretations

The Service computes astrological charts from astronomical ephemeris data and can generate AI-assisted interpretations, notes, and reports to support your own practice. The astronomical calculations aim to be precise; the interpretations are generated by AI models and are drafts for you to review, edit, and own.

A copilot, not an oracle. AstroProcessor is for informational, educational, and reflective purposes only. Astrological interpretations — whether written by you or AI-assisted — are not professional advice and are not a substitute for qualified medical, psychological, legal, financial, or other professional guidance. Do not rely on them as the sole basis for important decisions, and remember AI output may be inaccurate or incomplete, so review anything you publish or share with clients. You are responsible for any decisions you make based on any readings, forecasts, interpretations, or reports.

5. Subscriptions, billing, and refunds

  • Paid plans and one-time purchases are billed through our payment processor, Stripe. By purchasing, you authorize us and Stripe to charge your chosen payment method.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or annual) until cancelled. You can cancel anytime from your billing settings; access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for.
  • We may change our prices to reflect changes in our costs, in applicable taxes, or in what a plan includes. Any change applies only to future billing periods — never retroactively to a period you have already paid for. We will give you advance notice before an increase takes effect, and you can cancel before it applies. We do not provide refunds or price protection if a price later drops or a promotion is offered.
  • We may introduce fees for features that are currently free, or change what a plan includes. We will not charge you without your prior agreement, and we will give you advance notice before any new fee takes effect, so you can cancel beforehand if you choose.
  • Prices are shown inclusive or exclusive of tax as indicated at checkout; applicable taxes (e.g. VAT) are added where required.
  • Your statutory rights come first. If you are a consumer in the EU you have a 14-day right of withdrawal (subject to the immediate-delivery rules below) and the benefit of the legal guarantee of conformity. Outside those statutory rights, fees you have already incurred are non-refundable.
  • Right of withdrawal and immediate delivery. As a consumer you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a purchase. How this works depends on what you buy:
    • Subscriptions and access to paid features (a service): if you ask us to start providing the service during the 14-day period and then withdraw, we will refund you less a proportionate amount for the service already provided up to the moment you tell us. To exercise this right, write to [email protected] within the fourteen-day window; we will process the pro-rated refund within fourteen (14) days of receiving your request.
    • One-time reports (digital content): at checkout you can tick a box that expressly requests immediate generation and acknowledges that, by doing so, you lose your 14-day right of withdrawal once generation begins. If you tick that box and we begin generation, the right of withdrawal for that report is lost. We confirm this request and acknowledgement to you on a durable medium (your emailed receipt).
    • Token and credit packs (prepaid access): a pack is prepaid credit you spend later, not content delivered at purchase. You may withdraw within 14 days and we will refund any credits you have not yet used. Credits you have already spent are non-refundable: each spent credit reflects a digital service (a generated report or feature) that you expressly requested and we have already provided to you, and at the moment you spend a credit you confirm that request and acknowledge that you lose your withdrawal right for that consumption. After the 14-day period, unused credits are non-refundable. Unused credits expire 12 months after purchase and lapse without refund. Token and credit packs sold to business users are non-refundable in full.
    • Lifetime access (one-time purchase of permanent PREMIUM tier access plus an initial chat- and report-credit grant): within fourteen (14) calendar days of purchase you may withdraw by writing to [email protected]. If you have not started using the Service we refund the purchase in full. If you have begun using the Service — by debiting a chat credit, creating, editing or modifying a chart record, sending a chat message, or using the Service through an AI app you have connected to your account (a message that app sends through the AstroProcessor connector) — each such act is a digital service you expressly requested and that we have provided to you, and you lose your statutory right of withdrawal in respect of that consumption under Article 103.m TRLGDCU; any refund is reduced accordingly under Article 108.3 TRLGDCU for the service portion already provided. After the fourteen-day period the lifetime purchase is non-refundable. Eligible refunds are issued through Stripe and, on refund, your PREMIUM tier access and the remaining lifetime credit grant are revoked.
None of this affects your rights if the content or service is faulty or not as described.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the Service unlawfully, or to infringe the rights of others;
  • attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, scrape at scale, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its underlying systems;
  • resell or redistribute the Service, or present AI-generated output to others as guaranteed or professional advice;
  • upload content you do not have the right to use, or use the Service to harass, harm, or deceive others.

7. Your content and intellectual property

  • You retain ownership of the chart data, notes, and edited interpretations you create (“Your Content”). You grant us a limited license to store and process Your Content solely to operate and provide the Service to you.
  • The Service itself — software, design, and branding — remains our property and that of our licensors. These terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service, not to own it.
  • Subject to the laws of your jurisdiction, AI-generated draft text is yours to edit and use once produced for your account; you are responsible for how you use and distribute it.

8. Third-party services

The Service relies on third parties — including Stripe (payments), Google (optional sign-in), our hosting provider, the ephemeris calculation API, and AI model providers. Your use of features that depend on them may also be subject to their terms. We are not responsible for third-party services we do not control.

9. Disclaimers

We use reasonable skill and care to provide the Service. Astronomical calculations are produced from professional ephemeris data, and we will correct any defect required by the legal guarantee of conformity and other mandatory consumer-protection rules. AI-assisted interpretations, notes, and reports are probabilistic drafts: they may contain inaccuracies, are not professional advice, and are for you to review and edit before relying on them.

Subject to those commitments and to any rights that cannot be excluded under mandatory consumer law, the Service is provided on an “as available” basis. We do not guarantee any particular level of uptime and may carry out maintenance, updates, or downtime, and some features may be offered as beta, research previews, or experimental functionality without any commitment to continue them. To the maximum extent permitted by law and except as set out above, we give no other express or implied warranties to business users — including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We recommend you keep your own copies of any charts, notes, reports, or other content that matter to you. This recommendation does not exclude our liability for loss of, or inability to access, your data where that is caused by our own fault.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AstroProcessor will not be liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service.

If you are a business user (you use the Service in the course of a trade, business, craft, or profession), our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or €100.

If you are a consumer, this monetary cap does not apply to you: we are liable for damage we cause you by our fault in accordance with the Spanish Civil Code and mandatory consumer law.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, for gross negligence or wilful misconduct (dolo), for the legal guarantee of conformity owed to consumers, or for anything else that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

11. Indemnification

If you enter another person’s personal data into the Service, you do so as that data’s controller and we act as your processor; our Data Processing Terms apply automatically and form part of these terms. The responsibilities of a controller (including having a lawful basis and informing the data subject) are described in our Privacy Policy.

If you are a business user, you agree to indemnify and hold AstroProcessor harmless from claims, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your misuse of the Service, your violation of these terms, your infringement of any third party’s rights, or the birth or other personal data of third parties that you enter into the Service without a lawful basis.

If you are a consumer, you are responsible to us only for losses we suffer that are a reasonably foreseeable result of your own breach of these terms or of your unlawful entry of another person’s personal data; you are not required to cover our legal costs beyond what mandatory law allows. Nothing in this section limits your statutory rights.

12. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend, restrict, or terminate any aspect of the Service — including specific features, database access, or content — at any time if you breach these terms or use the Service in a way that creates legal risk or harms us or others. We may also close or delete accounts that remain inactive for an extended period, after notice. If we terminate or permanently suspend a paid feature for reasons other than your breach of these terms, we will refund any amount you have pre-paid for the unused remainder of your billing period. On termination, the clauses that by their nature should survive (ownership, disclaimers, liability, indemnification, governing law) continue to apply.

13. Changes to the Service or these terms

Modifications to the Service. Beyond what is needed to keep the Service in conformity with these terms, we may modify the Service for one or more of the following valid reasons: to comply with applicable law or a regulator’s requirement; to address security, fraud, or abuse; to reflect changes in the third-party services we rely on (such as the ephemeris API, our payment processor, AI providers, or hosting); to introduce, retire, or replace features for technical evolution; or to refine the Service based on user feedback or research. A modification will not impose any additional cost on you.

If a modification will negatively affect your access to, or use of, the Service in more than a minor way, we will inform you in advance, on a durable medium (typically email), of the features of the modification and the date it takes effect. In that case, you may terminate the affected paid subscription or feature, free of charge, within 30 days of receiving the information or of the modification taking effect, whichever is later, and we will refund any amount you have pre-paid for the unused remainder of your billing period. This free termination right does not apply if the negative impact is only minor.

Discontinuation. If we permanently discontinue a paid feature, we will refund any amount you have pre-paid for the unused remainder of your billing period.

Changes to these terms. We may also update these terms from time to time. When changes to these terms are material, we will give you reasonable advance notice on a durable medium (typically email or an in-app notice) before they take effect. If you do not agree to a material change, you may reject it by cancelling your subscription before it takes effect, and we will refund any amount you have pre-paid for the unused remainder of your period. For non-material changes, continuing to use the Service after they take effect means you accept them.

14. Force majeure

We are not liable for any delay or failure to provide the Service caused by events beyond our reasonable control — including outages or failures of hosting, network, payment, AI, or other third-party providers, internet failures, cyber-attacks, power failures, natural events, strikes, or acts of government.

15. General

  • Consumer rights prevail — if you are a consumer, the mandatory consumer-protection rights of the country where you live apply in addition to these terms and prevail over any clause that conflicts with them.
  • Severability — if any provision of these terms is held invalid or unenforceable, it is removed and the remaining provisions stay in full force. Where you are a consumer, a term found to be unfair is simply not binding on you and will not be re-written into a narrower version that is enforced against you.
  • No waiver — if we do not enforce a right or provision, that is not a waiver of it.
  • Entire agreement — these terms and the documents they reference (including the Privacy Policy) are the entire agreement between you and us about the Service and replace any earlier agreements on the subject.
  • Assignment — you may not assign or transfer these terms without our consent; we may assign them, for example as part of a reorganization, financing, or transfer of our business.

16. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Spain, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer, this choice of law does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory consumer rules of the country where you live.

Disputes will be subject to the courts of Barcelona, Spain — except that, if you are a consumer resident in the EU, proceedings against you may be brought only in the courts of the country where you live, and you may bring proceedings against us either there or in Barcelona, as EU law provides. You may also be able to use an out-of-court consumer dispute-resolution body (in Spain, the Juntas Arbitrales de Consumo).
